A good night’s sleep has a massive impact on our daily lives. Good sleeping habits improve energy levels and increase strength to accept new challenges, whereas not getting enough rest can contribute to lack of energy or exhaustion, overall demotivation, memory and concentration problems.

Living a stressful life, having constant change in routine or even drinking stimulating beverages regularly can have a negative impact on your sleeping quality.

Eating well promotes your well-being, mood, energy levels and your health in general! Therefore, NMS offers all NOVA’s students a service for nutrition and metabolism appointments.

This service is free of charge for all Nova students that benefit from any of NOVA’s scholarships programs.

EXERCISE

Are you physically active?

Exercising is a vital part of living a healthy life and feeling well. Walking, swimming, dancing or practicing any other type of physical activity are beneficial for tension relief, both physically and mentally.

Research shows that doing some kind of exercise increases serotonin levels, a neurotransmitter involved in appetite, mood and libido body regulation.

Any type of activity is beneficial and some is better than none.

NOVA’s Sports office can provide you with a health plan, and NOVA provides counselling and nutrition appointments.
